We live in the Information Age.
We're bombarded with images, videos, snippets and sound bites every day – so how do we filter the beneficial information from what is confusing or conflicting? Where do we find substance, depth, reliability and clarity? Snippets & sound bites are not enough to sustain one’s Deen. Where can you go when you feel that ‘thirst’ for something more?
That's where Madina Institute comes in.
We aim to revive knowledge that brings Life to the heart. We believe that REAL Knowledge is not what you find in a Google search; it's deep, takes time, is found not simply in books but in the hearts of the scholars who inherited the legacy of the Prophets, and is transformative when sought by a sincere heart, and coupled with good deeds.
We believe in unity through diversity - that richness in our Ummah comes from embracing our differences and learning from each other. We equip learners to explore while thinking critically, to choose a path with wisdom.
Our methodology is to follow "Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jamā’ah" in Arabic studies, Usul (Legal Theory), Hadith Sciences and Ihsan (Tazkiyah/Spiritual Purification). We believe in complete prioritization of the Divine Texts (Qur’ān and Authentic Sunnah) over any and everything, followed by Ijmā’ and Qiyās. The Qur’ān and Sunnah are revealed by Allah, and no other entity can be as unconditionally loving, forgiving, compassionate, and inclusive.
And that's where you can find guidance as well. This program gives you a taste from the vast ocean of Islamic Knowledge!
